Terms of Service
Welcome to Menovē. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Menovē website at menove.app and the Menovē mobile application (together, the "Service"), operated by Menovē ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Menovē is a digital general-wellness product designed to support women navigating perimenopause and menopause. The Service includes an AI wellness companion ("Mona"), symptom and mood tracking, personalized insights, and educational content. Menovē is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Menovē offers paid subscriptions and one-time purchases. By starting a paid plan you authorize us (or the applicable app store) to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring basis until you cancel. Renewal pricing is the same as the original subscription unless otherwise disclosed. You can cancel at any time; refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful purposes, (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code of the Service, (c) upload malicious code or attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service, (d) use the Service to harass, abuse, or impersonate others, or (e) scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its content without our written permission.
5. User content and privacy
You retain ownership of the information and content you submit to the Service (such as check-ins, symptom logs, and chat messages). You grant us a limited license to use this content solely to operate, improve, and personalize the Service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Medical disclaimer
The Service provides general wellness and educational information. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment, supplement, or medication. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.
7. Intellectual property
The Menovē name, logo, Mona character, Service content, and underlying software are owned by Menovē or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MENOVĒ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL MENOVĒ BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and/or deleting your account.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
